Im new to the area and just by chance stopped by this place. Im glad I did, the food is amazing. I ordered the double cheeseburger, onion rings and a hot dog. All of it was good and the wait time was reasonable. The places atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming. Definitely coming back for dinner

With being local now for 4 years I've witnessed staff change and not all for the better but it's improving and that understandable. The food is good and I love the flounder fish sandwich, that's a favorite of mine. So if you want it for breakfast get it or if you want it for lunch/ dinner get it.

Burger Shack of Mount Gilead has the same exact recipe for hotdogs that Sandy Bogen used for years at Lefler's Place in Pee Dee. Long live Sandy's famous hotdogs!

I don't know why I've waited so long to actually eat here... the food is amazing! People have always told me how great this place was. The fish (flounder) sandwich is so good and could easily be turned into 2 sandwiches to share with someone if you asked for an extra bun. However, I always eat the whole thing by myself - it's that good. You get 2 huge pieces of fish that hang off of the bun. Even there fries are great. They serve a delicious breakfast as well. They have all kinds of foods on the menu to choose from, so you are going to find something you like/love no matter what. The employees here are very nice and the food comes out quickly - you can also just order stuff off of their buffet style foods right when you walk in the door. I cannot wait to go back... which will definitely be very soon! (the picture does it no justice)

Gut bomb but in a good way. Chicken was dry, but had good taste. Tater wedges were moist and a highlight.

Good burger joint. Waiting to go back to try the fried chicken ..oh fries where crinkle fry witch I like better..

They are busy for lunch & we always do the drive thru & take our food to the local park & eating lunch sitting on a park beach, while our little guy enjoys the various smells. The associates are nice & orders have also been correct each time. If you like Corn Dogs be sure to ask for them, just not on the menu. They are REALLY GOOD! Nice thick batter & COOKED Perfect. Prices are VERY REASONABLE with amount of food you get & drink!

Made a pit stop here and it reminded me of the restaurants in the big cities that are almost non-existent now. The staff was super sweet, helpful, and kind. The service was great. Food was good too. Lots of smiles. The customers that filled the restaurant really added to the atmosphere. I wish there were more of these places still around.
